What is a Starbucks Card?

The Starbucks Card is a stored value card as well as a loyalty card that offers you rewards when making purchases at any Starbucks store in the Philippines. It also makes a perfect gift for any occasion.

Why did Starbucks introduce the Starbucks Card?

It’s just our way of saying thanks for being a loyal Starbucks customer! If we can enhance your Starbucks experience with the rewards of using the Starbucks Card, then we’re doing our job right.

How do I purchase a Starbucks Card?

You can activate a Starbucks Card at any Starbucks store in the Philippines with an initial minimum load of just Php300. The amount will be loaded into your Starbucks Card which you can use to make purchase right away. There are no Card, set-up, or usage fees.

Can I purchase a Starbucks Card in the Philippines and use it in another market?

The Starbucks Card in the Philippines is a locally issued Card and can only be used in the Philippines. We are also unable to perform any transactions, including reloading, on another market’s Starbucks Cards.

Is a Starbucks Card re-loadable?

Yes, reloads can be done at any participating Starbucks store in the Philippines or through The minimum amount that can be reloaded is PhP300, in increasing denominations of PhP100; and a maximum amount of Php10,000 is permitted on the account at any one time.

Can I reuse my Starbucks Card?

Definitely! Your Starbucks Cards is re-loadable and re-useable. You can reload your Starbucks Card with additional cash value at any of our participating Starbucks stores in the Philippines.

Is there an expiry date for my Starbucks Card?

Your Starbucks Card will not expire so long as you keep using your Card and have available load. Only Cards with no activity and load will expire 3 years from the last purchase.

Can I return or refund a Starbucks Card that I have purchased or received as gift?

No. All Starbucks Cards purchased or received are non-refundable nor exchangeable for cash.

Is there a limit to the number of Starbucks Card I can purchase?

There is no limit to the number of Cards you can purchase provided each Card is loaded with a minimum of Php300 upon activation. We can however limit your purchase to 10 Starbucks Cards per transaction.

Where can I use my Starbucks Card?

You can use your Starbucks Card to purchase any item at all participating Starbucks stores in the Philippines.

Which are the participating Starbucks stores in The Philippines?

All Starbucks stores in the Philippines are participating in the Starbucks Card program.

Can I make partial payment with my Starbucks Card?

Yes, you can split payment on a purchase using your Starbucks Card and any other form of payment that is accepted (except Starbucks gift certificates) at our participating stores. Purchases using your Starbucks Cards combined with other form of payment also earn you Stars.

Can I pay using multiple Starbucks Cards for one purchase?

No, payment for a purchase can only be made with one Starbucks Card or a split payment with other any other form of payment (except Starbucks gift certificates) that is accepted at our participating stores.

Can I return purchases made with my Starbucks Card?

Only purchases of defective merchandise, excluding food and beverage, with your Starbucks Card may be refunded or exchanged within seven (14) days of purchase. You may return or exchange the item in any of our participating stores provided original receipts are provided.

How can I check the balance on my Starbucks Card?

You can check your balance at any participating Starbucks store, by calling our hotline, or by checking your account online. In addition, all Starbucks Card transaction receipts will include your remaining balance.

Can I transfer the balance from my existing Starbucks Card to another Starbucks Card?

Transfer of balances is not permitted. If your Cards are registered, your balances are automatically pooled. Multiple Cards registered under one account will reflect total account balance.

Will I be able to use my Starbucks Card at all times?

Yes, the Starbucks Card is an acceptable form of payment at our stores. However, we may temporarily be unable to perform most Starbucks Card transactions due to unavoidable technical problem or unforeseen network downtime.

When the network is down, we will allow Starbucks Card customers to earn Stars on eligible purchases even if they pay using other forms of payment (cash, credit card, or debit card). The transaction will be similar to a regular purchase using cash, credit card or debit card but will require our barista to swipe your Starbucks Card to capture your account's information. The balance on your Starbucks Card will not be deducted. A purchase receipt will be issued with details of your Card as proof of an offline Starbucks Card transaction.

When will my Stars from an offline transaction be posted on my account?

Stars earned from offline transaction will be credited to your account within 7 working days from the date of your transaction, unless prevented by some unavoidable technical problem, in which case, such stars will be credited to your account as soon as the technical problem is resolved.

How can I check my Stars from an offline transaction?

You can check your Stars at any participating Starbucks store, by calling our hotline, or by checking your account online. Stars earned from offline transactions are reflected on your online Transaction History as Earn Beverage Star (Offline), Earn VIA Star (Offline), or Earn Whole Bean Star (Offline). In addition, all Starbucks Card transaction receipts will include a balance of your Stars.

What should I do if my Starbucks Card is lost or stolen?

If your Card is registered, you will need to log onto your account online or call our customer call centre to deactivate your Card immediately and protect the balance on it. You will need to purchase and register a new Card to retrieve any remaining balance. If you have multiple Cards in your account, your total account balance will be available for purchase or redemptions using your other active Cards.
