About My Starbucks Card Rewards®

What is My Starbucks Rewards®?

My Starbucks Rewards is our loyalty program that rewards customers in meaningful and exciting ways.


Are the benefits of My Starbucks Rewards® the same in all Starbucks across the globe?

Although we call our program My Starbucks Rewards™ globally, the benefits are tailor-fit to the preferences of customers within a particular country, and may thus vary between countries.


How do I join My Starbucks Rewards®?

You can join My Starbucks Rewards™ by simply registering a Starbucks Card to a Starbucks Account. There is no registration fee, however, the minimum amount to activate a Starbucks Card is ₱300.


I am already registered. Do I need to register to a new Starbucks Account to join?

No, your existing account automatically entitles you to new registration perks. If you have not opted in to receive notifications from Starbucks, we encourage you to do so in order to receive exclusive offers and special invites via email.


Can I use my existing Starbucks Card to avail of My Starbucks Rewards®?

Yes, so long as your Starbucks Card is not yet pooled to an existing Starbucks Account. In case of the latter, it will be your existing registered Starbucks Account that automatically entitles you to My Starbucks Rewards.


Can I avail of My Starbucks Rewards® in another country?

Not by using your Starbucks Card issued in the Philippines. The Starbucks Card in the Philippines is a locally-issued card and can only be used in the Philippines. Thus, participation in My Starbucks Rewards™ using the Starbucks Card/s you use in the Philippines, is limited in the Philippines only. Similarly, we are also unable to perform any transaction on Starbucks Cards issued in another country at this time.


Can I opt not to register to a My Starbucks Rewards® and still receive rewards?

Just by using their Starbucks Card to pay, you earn Stars and will be eligible to redeem complimentary beverages, whole bean coffee and Starbucks VIA®.


What is a Star and how do I earn one?

You earn Stars by paying for a transaction with a Starbucks Card in the Philippines:
∙ 1 Beverage Star is earned for every purchase of any handcrafted beverage of any size
∙ 1 Whole Bean and Tea Star is earned for every purchase of any 250g bag of whole bean coffee
∙ 1 Starbucks VIA® Star is earned for every purchase of any 12-pack Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew, 5-pack Starbucks VIA®  Iced Coffee,  or 4-pack Starbucks VIA®  Latte.


What are the rewards on the Stars I earn?

Collect your Stars to redeem your Starbucks favorites:
∙ Any Grande handcrafted beverage* with up to 2 add-ons for every 12 Beverage Stars
∙ Any 250g bag of whole bean coffee* or Starbucks® Teavana™ Retail Packaged Tea for every 10 Whole Bean and Tea Stars
∙ Any 12-pack Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew, 5-pack Starbucks VIA® Iced Coffee, or 4-pack Starbucks VIA® Latte for every 10 Starbucks VIA® Stars

Will I earn Stars on purchases of 5-pack Starbucks VIA® Iced Coffee and 4-pack Starbucks VIA® Latte all year round?

As Starbucks VIA® Iced Coffee is offered on a limited-time only basis, Starbucks VIA® Stars are earned only when it is available at our stores. That, the 4-pack Starbucks VIA® Latte will be offered year-round for all VIA® products that are sold in our stores.


Can I combine Stars earned from purchases of a 12-pack Starbucks VIA®, 5-pack Starbucks VIA® Iced Coffee and 4-pack Starbucks VIA® Latte?

Yes, Stars earned from these purchases are credited to your Starbucks VIA® Star balance. Starbucks VIA® Stars may be used to redeem any 12-pack Starbucks VIA®, 5-pack Starbucks VIA® Iced Coffee or 4-pack Starbucks VIA® Latte.


Can I combine different Stars to redeem a reward?

To redeem, you can only use Stars equivalent to the reward. If you have insufficient Stars, you can collect Stars from January 1 to December 31 each year to redeem a reward until March 1 of the following year.


How do I check my Stars?

You can inquire about your Stars from any of our participating Starbucks stores, by calling (02) 462-6262 (Metro Manila) or 1800-10-4626262 (PLDT domestic toll-free), or checking your account online. In addition, all Starbucks Card transaction receipts will include your Card balance and a breakdown of Stars.


Do Stars expire?

Yes. All Stars earned from January 1 to December 31 each year are valid for redemption until March 1 only of the following year. Keep track of your Stars through your Starbucks Account.


How do I know how many of my Stars will expire?

Please check your Starbucks Account at starbucks.ph/card. If your card is unregistered, you may call (02) 462-6262 (Metro Manila) or 1800-10-4626262 (PLDT domestic toll-free) and the customer care contact center will be happy to provide information about your expiring Stars.


Can I combine Stars earned from the current calendar year and next year to redeem a reward?

Yes, you may combine Beverage, Whole Bean or Via Stars earned in the current year with earned Stars the following year to redeem your free reward before March 2 of the following year.
Eg.
Stars earned from January 1 to December 31, 2014 = 10 Stars
Stars earned from January 1 to March 1, 2015 = 3 Stars
Total Stars valid for redemption until March 1, 2015 = 13 Stars


Are Starbucks Card purchases of food items and merchandise eligible for Stars?

Starbucks Card purchases of food items and merchandise are currently not eligible for Stars. You can use your Starbucks Card to purchase any item in participating Starbucks stores but Stars are based on handcrafted beverages of any size, 250g bags of whole bean coffee, and 12-pack of Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew purchases for now. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the program, and will send updates if there are new and quicker ways for our customers to earn more rewards.


How do I redeem my rewards?

Just visit any of our participating Starbucks stores and present your Starbucks Card to redeem. Be sure to check your rewards status online, through the hotline, or with your barista.
Can I return rewards I have redeemed with my Starbucks Card?
No. All rewards redeemed with your Starbucks Card are non-refundable, nor exchangeable for cash or other items.


Will my barista tell me if I have a free reward available for redemption on my Starbucks Card or My Starbucks Rewards account?

No, your barista will not notify you if you have a free drink, whole bean coffee , Starbucks VIA or other reward available for redemption - so be sure to check your rewards status when you visit a store, check it online through starbucks.ph/card or watch-out for email notification.
